De FNV heeft in Eindhoven een symbolische aangifte gedaan van ‘diefstal van zekerheid’. Het gaat om 6,5 miljard euro aan sociale uitkeringen. Die middelen zijn door werkenden en werkgevers opgebouwd voor noodgevallen zoals ziekte of werkloosheid. Nu dreigen ze te worden doorgesneden. De vakbond noemt de kabinetsplannen desastreus. Zelfs wie tien jaar gewerkt heeft, zou bij werkloosheid nauwelijks nog WW ontvangen. “Dat voelt als diefstal”, zegt FNV-bestuurder Desiree Egberts. Kaderleden overhandigden een grote envelop met bewijsstukken bij het politiebureau. De actie richt zich niet tegen de politie, maar is een dringende oproep aan het kabinet. Op 26 juni volgt een manifestatie op het Stadhuisplein in Eindhoven. De FNV waarschuwt: dit raakt iedereen.
